the room smelled a bit like pies, which was kinda weird. also, the tv was tiny and the bathroom could use some better cleaning.

missingWrote a review on Sept 19slipping hazard
The shared bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired. one morning, I nearly slipped on a soaking wet floor with no warning signs around. Noise from other guests was a nuisance, especially with doors slamming and loud music waking me up during the night. The lack of any contact with staff at such hours was frustrating, as I’m sure I wasn’t the only one needing assistance with these disturbances.

Amazing vibe and tasty food!
Super unique spot! Came with friends on a busy weekend. Staff were sooo helpful, squeezed us in for dinner and Sunday lunch. The place is filled with cool decor and history. Loved the pies! Only wished there were more dessert options. Can't wait to tackle Desperate Dan next time!

Had a blast staying here with friends! We tackled the Desperate Dan mighty Pie Challenge and enjoyed every bite. The comfy beds were ideal after a long day exploring the area. Clean and quirky, this place offers a restaurant and pub, making it a fun spot for groups. Definitely check out the other local attractions nearby.
One downside was the noise from passing traffic when the window was open. It might bother some, especially if you prefer a quieter stay. Just something to keep in mind.

The room was clean and comfy with a super king size bed, perfect for unwinding after exploring. It had a nice warm vibe too. Just a small note, if you like it quiet, the noise from passing traffic can be a bit much if the window's open. But overall, it felt cozy and welcoming.

It was a fun stay, especially if you're a fan of quirky decor and hearty meals. The room was comfortable and clean, which made for a nice resting spot after exploring the local attractions. The pies served here are a must-try. I can still taste the deliciousness of the 'wham bam thank you lamb'. Although the area feels a bit industrial and there were some noise issues at night, the overall experience was enjoyable for a budget traveler like myself.
